D&AD SUBMISSION
FRIES & FRIENDS
This is my submission for the D&AD New Blood Awards 2019. ​
​
To celebrate their 150th anniversary, Heinz wanted a design that established ketchup as the main event for the next 150 years without reflecting on nostalgia.
​
We were challenged with introducing a new audience to Heinz and make existing brand lovers feel confirmed in their behaviours.
​
We looked at the foods that are commonly eaten with ketchup and created quirky characters who would see Heinz as their favourite brand under the awarding body 'Fries & Friends'.
​
We also created a label and advert to accompany the campaign.
